Today, we used a recipe from my friends blog!
Marinated Rosemary Chicken
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp. olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced
4 Tbsp. dried rosemary (we only did 3 Tbsp and there was still a LOT)
1 3-lb. broiler/fryer chicken, remove skin and cut up
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp. olive oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced
4 Tbsp. dried rosemary (we only did 3 Tbsp and there was still a LOT)
1 3-lb. broiler/fryer chicken, remove skin and cut up
The recipe calls for you to marinate it over night and grill it afterwards. But we just thawed the chicken, dunked it in the marinade, poured some of the marinade on it and cooked it in a pan. We cooked it for about 30 mins at 350 degrees. Half way through, Shane took off the foil and poured the rest of the marinade on.
In the end it was DELICIOUS! We devoured this with more mashed potatoes (i love those things), and more Rhodes rolls (i also LOVE those). Along with some strawberry jello to add color because I could not think of anything else haha!
So :) try it out! Its reeeeeeeeeeeally nice!
Here is a pictoral. (from a phone, you can tell.)
Plus I had rootbeer for the first time in a long time and WOW!... It hurts my nose!
