11 Facts about me:
1. If you don't know already, I have naturally curly hair.
2. I am deathly afraid of birds. They are gorgeous BUT if they get close, they become demons in my eyes.
3. I really like cooking, but I can't make desserts! I have made a pretty delicious cake once. But I usually have to stick to main dishes cause..... I have wasted a lot of flour and sugar.
4. I got my first camera from my dad when I was a sophomore in high school. It was a point and shoot Canon camera. I've been in love with Canon ever since. I got my dslr in the summer of 2010. I've learned a lot since then, BUT have SO MUCH MORE to learn.
5. I love taking pictures, but I also love art. I would love to major in art, but that opportunity won't roll around for a while. I don't know all the dates and ages of art. But I'd love to have the time to learn.
6. One day I would love to own an old, bungalow style house. I want to fix it up with Shane.
7. Shane and I both have a dream of being pretty self-sufficient. Don't judge. We honestly just love the thought. We want to have a garden and fruit trees. I want my mom to teach me to can the things we grow. We aren't going to be one of those crazies that never associate with people unless their talking about the end of the world! I just think it is such a fulfilling thing to do. I also think it's a lost art. So I may be old fashioned like that, but that's okay. Old fashioned is good to me.
8. I feel like my lips are always chapped. I have a goal to stay hydrated and see of that helps, so when I wear lipstick it doesn't look nasty!
9. I LOVE wearing socks! The summer is hard for me because I just want to wear socks everywhere I go, but sandals are a must.... so I have a personal battle with myself almost every day.
10. If I paint my fingernails I WILL pick it off. I can't keep it on unless its like flesh colored. But I HAVE TO have my toenails painted. Even then, I can't have it be some bright color. It makes me feel subconscious.
11. I can't walk in heels. You don't even want to know how bad it is. However, the other day I tried on some awesome sneaker- wedges, and I could WALK! Might be my next shoe purchase.

Why did you start blogging? I honestly don't know. I had recently discovered blogs, and I had just been married. So why not?! I never thought I would be so invested in it. But I'm glad I am.
Where is your favorite place to go? Hmm... I haven't been many places, but I love finding myself in an outdoor place that is really quiet. When you can only hear wind and birds. Is that making sense to anyone? It can be anywhere in the world, and it just sneaks up on you and you find such peace there.
What's your most favorite time of year? Spring and Fall. I'm not a huge fan for the extreme temperatures. Spring and Fall are so balanced and beautiful.
If you could go to any place in the world, where would you go? Italy and Peru. Italy because Shane went there on his mission and I've heard a million wonderful things about the sights, food and people. Is there anyone out there who DOESN'T want to go to Italy? Peru because it seems like such a humble beautiful place, AND I have a good friend there that I want to see again.
Where do you like to shop? I honestly don't shop much. I really like Urban Wear (University Mall) and H&M is pretty cool. But I don't really have one favorite place.
Who is your favorite artist? Music artist? The Tallest Man on Earth. But when it comes to painting and drawing..... ah........ I honestly don't know. I have lots of favorite paintings, but like I said, I'm not well versed in names and dates.
What do you do for family time with your family? Sing and dance to Shane's guitar, play board and card games and reminisce on when we were young. 
What make-up item could you not live without? Mascara. I have long eyelashes, but they are super light and I only have like 5. (exaggeration... maybe 10)
How do you like to style your hair? I style it however it looks decent that day. I love braids though. (dur-dee-dur)
What is one of your favorite memories? I have two. The first time Shane and I kissed, and the first time I saw Taegan's face.
